Here are the list of signals and the type of site to expect, before choosing a signal to hone in on.
UNKNOWN: Combat sites. Can be found with ANY PROBE TYPE - Can also turn out to be any type of site.these are either combat-oriented sites or wormholes. These combat sites do not require special skills or equipments to acquire the goods; however, the pirates found in these sites are much stronger and the players will have to use a properly fitted combat ships or sometimes a fleet to finish them.
GRAVIMETRIC: Hidden asteroid belts containing ores of rare types than those commonly found in the system. Do beware that NPC pirates also visit those hidden belts regularly to attack unarmed mining vessels
MAGNETOMETRIC: Archaeology/Salvage profession sites. These sites contain ship wrecks that can be analyzed by analyzer or salvaged by salvager. These sites are guarded by local NPC pirates or rogue drones. One can acquire T2 rig blueprint copies and T1/T2 salvaged parts from these sites, it should also be noted that analyzing the wrecks can sometimes trigger booby-trap and damage the scanning ship.
RADAR: Hacking profession sites, which require the player to utilize the Codebreaker module to hack the sealed cans found in those sites. Radar sites are usually lightly guarded by some NPC pirates and can be cleaned without much effort. Typical loots from radar sites are decryptors, datacores, interface blueprints, interface components and invention-related skillbooks.
LADAR: Harvestable gas clouds these sites are rare in New Eden and contain gas cloud or fullerites that can by harvested by gas harvesting modules. Booster-related items are said to be found in ladar sites as well. Rarely there can be a pirate base inside the gas cloud with hackers containers.
Wormhole Collapse
There comes a time in every wormhole’s life when it will collapse into the ether. Wormholes are inherently unstable, and will eventually collapse. However, wormholes also come in differing varieties of stability and heavy usage of a wormhole can cause it to collapse prematurely. When a show info is done on a wormhole (refer to the picture below), there will be some indications as to how long its remaining lifespan is, as well as whether its stability has been disrupted or not due to the mass of ships traveling through it.
For time collapse:

For time collapse:
- "Life cycle has not begun" - This means you've found a wormhole just as it is forming, and it will spawn in a minute or two.
- "Probably won't last another day" - This is the wormhole's main life, and has over 25% of it's total time remaining.
- "Reaching the end of its natural lifetime" - This signifies the wormhole will be naturally collapsing soon, having less than 25% of it's total time remaining. Collapse is imminent.
- "Has not yet had its stability significantly disrupted" - This indicates the wormhole is still quite stable, and has over 45% of its total allowable mass left.
- "Has had its stability reduced, but not to a critical degree yet" - This means the wormhole has seen a decent amount of travel, and has less than 45% of its total allowable mass left.
- "This wormhole has had its stability critically disrupted by the mass of numerous ships passing through and is on the verge of collapse." - This means exactly what it says. The wormhole has had most of its total allowable mass used up, and has less than 5% left. Collapse is imminent.
